A Clinical Study For Non-Calculous Surgical Biliary Tract Disease






Abstract
This report was based on the 114 patients who were treated and diagnosed as non-calculous surgical biliary tract disease after surgery at General Surgery Department of Busan National University from Jan., 1968 to Dec., 1973 during 6 years.
This, category of disease was included choledochoascariasis, carcinoma of bile duct, and gall bladder, perforation of gall bladder, clonorchiasis sinensis, non-calculous cholecystitis, hemobilia, billiary stricture, benign tumor of gall bladder.
The following results were obtained:
1. The frequency in this category was revealed the following percentage: Ascariasis: 35.0%
Clonorchiasis: 21.9%, Tumor: 14.0%, Perforation: 11, 4%, Cholecystitis: 6.1.%, and others 25.6% 2. The ascariasis was more frequent in female than male about 2 times. 3. The resectability of common bile duct carcinoma was 25.0%. 4. All cancer of gall bladder in this study were adenocarcinoma. 5. The causes of perforation of the gall bladder were acute cholecytitis 69.2%, trauma 23.1% and liver abscess 7.7%/.
And operative mortality of perforation of gall bladder was 15. 4%.
6. Operation was effective for management of non-calculous cholecytitis.
